Give Your Kiddo the Gift of Confidence

Public speaking tops the polls as our most common fear in everyday life. But when young children learn to express themselves to an audience, they can avoid public speaking anxiety before it begins, reduce fears they may already have and build their teamwork and leadership skills.

At Lil Voices, we’ve aligned our unique curriculum with state and national learning standards, including the Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines and Common Core, because we don’t just train speakers — We enrich your child’s experience of education in three key areas:

Cognitive development

Public speaking promotes young peoples’ abilities to organize their ideas, use critical thinking and apply analytical skills to create compelling arguments for speeches and presentations.

Social and emotional learning (SEL)

Public speaking can help kids develop important SEL skills, such as actively listening, appropriately responding to others and engaging in positive interactions with peers and teachers. Students will also learn helpful self-improvement tools and techniques, such as deep breathing, self-control and emotional expression and regulation. These skills can help them reduce nervousness as they prepare for academic tasks, such as testing and class presentations.

Artistic expression

Kids can use public speaking skills to explore their creative abilities in many ways, such as storytelling, poetry and debate team performances. These talents can also lead to healthy extracurricular hobbies and successful future careers.

Through games and fun activities, public speaking training at Lil Voices will not only set your child up for success in school and leadership roles but also give them a powerful tool for self-knowledge and self-actualization.

Public speaking is a valuable life skill.
